Fertility is an important topic on which government should think about. The dictionary meaning says it is a ratio of live births in an area to the population of that area. It is expressed per 1000 population per year. The ratio had many ups and downs. Last decade there is come stability. The important reason is health policy, recession effect on jobs and the law governing these policies. In spite of people good initiation taken by government, good policies announced by government, the people seem to be not thinking seriously about it. They just think about their benefits.
In our country it is not so. Infertility is an important issue. Government announced that they will be giving paid leaves of about 3 months to all mothers in government job. Also there are several perks and other financial benefits given to them. It’s about income tax benefit. Mother can submit those medical expense bills as the expenditure. That amount is taxable amount. So they need not to invest much money in life insurance policies. The tax structure is simple. For women the first income tax slab is already more than men.
